Munich Jewish Museum | Jakovplatz

The synagogue is on the left (the taller building with the Jewish Star laticework) and the museum is on the right. Architecturally, they are the inverse of each other: the synagogue is closed on the sides and open on top (skylight) to keep the focus on the heavens. The museum is open on the side, with windows, to be inviting. There are quotes printed on the windows to attract attention of passers-by. The museum really is designed for Germans, which is good (I mean, gut!).
